Allah or God: Who cares??

Mind you, if you are offended by reading my title, i suggest you go to this website for relief. www.disney.com

I don't understand why is there a big fuss over the matter of the word "Allah" to be used in the Herald newspaper (a catholic religion newsletter). I mean come on, why are you politicians are so offended by it? Why are you so narrow-minded and thinking that "Allah" is just for the muslims? Don't you know that Allah is all-loving and all-forgiving, and He wouldn't mind if other religion share his name, because all He wants is harmony and peace in the community, society and country.

I dare to say that we Buddhist also believe in Allah (in different perspective) and if I were to state my explanation in BM, I would also be using the word "Allah". You, politicians, are just stirring our country because of this non-issue, and this show how incapable and narrow-minded of you.

If some of you are so narrow-minded as the politicians we have, let me give you a simple illustration. Water in english is called water (duh). Water in malay is called air. Water in chinese is called shui. Different language but all the same meaning. Think about it hor?

Allahu akbar!

On 16 February 2009, the Home Minister, Syed Hamid Albar, signed a gazette known as Gazette PU A 62 under section 22 (1)(c) of the Internal Security Act 1969 -- titled Internal Security (Prohibition On Use of Specific Words on Document and Publication) Order 2009.The gazette states as follows: Prohibition on use of specific words on document and publication 2. What's wrong with the Malaysian Politicians?

If I were to just write a sentence in this post it would be the title as it is. Self-explanatory.

Latest political big "Hu-Hah"s, first is the collapse of the Perak Pakatan Rakyat government and forming new BN government. Second is Karpal on suing the Sultan of Perak and also asking the Opposition Leader, Anwar Ibrahim to step down. Third is the scandal defamation on Elizabeth Wong. Fourth, Perak MB and the other 6 excos is being suspended. Fifth, PM Abdullah stated it was disrespectful on sultan's decision for suspend the MB and excos. And the list continue to goes on.

I'm not sure whether this thing also happen in the big countries like USA, England, Australia. So many dramas to be unfold and we the Rakyats are left bedazzled over the things happened (mouth wide-open). The dramas happening here are uncomparable to the dramas like TVB and such. They are just too good! The politicians are so busy taking powers from each other, by humilating, defaming, cheating, bribing etc and the things that matter have been overlooked, oversighted and even ignored.

Sadly, even now we are going to face economy crisis, or maybe we are at it now actually , politicians still very boh-eng(busy) with this non-essential stuff. Come on, let's sit together and talk about how to improve our current economic. Debate on it, have forum on it or whatever. Tackle the corruption in this country. Spend rakyat's money wisely. Improve the social welfare for all of us. Ain't that what the politicians should and must be really doing?

Where is the value, the integrity, the honesty, the upright conduct, in our politicians?

"Super"-rakyat like Raja Petra Kamaruddin RPK, has done a great deal of effort which is immeasurable to straighten the thoughts of all the other rakyat due to the misleding information by our crooked politicians, and government-controlled media. Why is this so complicated? Politic is all about managing, or governing a country for the social of all its country citizens.

What the hell is wrong with the Malaysian Politicians?

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Story plot: A-
Acting: A
Visuals: B+
OVERRALL GRADE: A
Story plot was awesome, although, it turned out very dull in the beginning. But the middle and ending part of the story were the parts which intrigued me to keep me watching till the end. Talk about an almost 3-hour movie.. Bad Pritt as always, is a great actor and he has a very deep manly voice maintained throughout the movie, and Cate Blanchett, exotic classy actress I find.
Visuals were not that bad but because the "old-look" make up still seems a bit fake to me, that's why i gave it a B+. Other than that, the CG effect in the sea and during the navy war was pretty cool.
The most touching part was the part where Benjamin (Brad) and Daisy (Cate) met together back after a number of years, and Daisy was an old woman, and Benjamin was a young teenage boy that time. You might be asking, what is this story about? An old woman and a young teenage boy? Heck. But I'm not going to give you a spoiler over here. Go and watch it for yourself. It is highly solely recommended by me :)

A very long week

I'm not getting really enough sleep lately, been sleeping every night at 2am or later.Fortunately, the eyes are still functionable and didn't go cuckoo. But my brain was going through under the normal wave length and felt fatigue all the time. BUT again, I always remind myself on Ajahn Brahm's teachings, where I should put my mindfullness between my fatigueness and the "I" observer. And also thanks to my crazy friends, and buddies, and classmates, which kept me awake all the time. Laugh out loud.

Last Saturday on the 7th February, the Buddhist Society has just organized a Chinese New Year trip and I was the vice chairman running the 'show'. Was pretty damn busy travelling places to confirm the places of visit before the event, and I had to force to delay my university assignments. Fair enough, great sacrifice, gives a great return and I'm really satisfied of the event which also gave me the confidence to organize more event in the near future.

OK, right after the event, I decided to take a day break, and it happened also that my family planned to go Genting during Thaipusam. Woohoo! Followed them and relax my freaking brain out. My very main motive of going there was to drink a cup of Mocha Latte in Starbucks, chilling in the cold climate, while surfing the Net. Ahh... and boy, do I get it. Perfecto.

The relaxing period was short-lived and it died straight away once I came down to the mainland :( Bombarded with assignments and creeping my way out to meet the due date, 3 presentations to be made consecutively on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Worst part was, my assignment group and I had practically no idea how or what we should do for our Logistic Management presentation, which also happen to be the most toughest subject ever and has the Tutor who doesn't give a damn on who you are. *Gulp*

Yea I wished to. Hope it will be a better week this week :) Enjoy the pictures
